New Terrace Cottage is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Wales, with stunning views for miles around. The cottage has recently been restored and renovated to a high standard to reveal several original features such as the master fireplace in the lounge and fireplaces in both bedrooms. The Cottage includes a living area with Freeview TV, and DVD player and a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside.
An antique pine farmhouse table provides dining for 4 persons. An adjoining kitchen is brand new with new integrated fridge, washing machine and oven/ hob. The bedrooms have been styled to reflect the cottage history with cast iron style beds, throws, fairy tale dressing table and classic style cabinets. The cottage has had a new bathroom suite installed with electric shower and electric heating throughout. The lounge incorporates an Aga woodburning stove with logs supplied.
Outside is a private enclosed rear gardens backing onto fields and trees. The garden is laid to grass and has a large summer house with cane furniture and barbecue. Parking is provided outside the cottage on the road which is extremely quiet.
The cottage overlooks the historic market town of Mold which holds a traditional street market every Wednesday and Saturday.
Within a mile of the cottage is a local pub which is a old style log fire pub serving fabulous local dishes
Local activities includes mountain biking (Trails in the Nercwys Forest and also in Llandegla), fishing (Sea, Trout and Course), horse riding and walking to name a few plus near enough for trips to Snowdonia and the NW Coast.
The Roman City of Chester is only a short drive away. There is an abundance of places to eat in both locally around Mold and also within a few miles in any direction.
