Gweryd Lodge is a private 150 acre estate set in the CLWYDIAN MOUNTAIN Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North East Wales, offering a superb setting for day or holiday visitors wanting COARSE FISHING, WALKING, MOUNTAIN BIKING or HORSERIDING. We offer camping, S/C mobile homes and B&B.
COARSE FISHING
With three lakes to choose from, ranging from 3/4 acre to the natural spring fed Llyn Gweryd 12.5 acres we can please the most discerning angler. The lakes have been stocked for nearly 20 years with specimens now being caught roach and crucians to 3lb,tench to 10lbs, bream to 10lbs, Carp to 28lb, Perch 5lbs. The lakes have large stocks of smaller fish which provides great sport for pleasure anglers, and we have disabled access. Day and night fishing tickets.
FISHING TACKLE SHOP
We can provide bait and tackle from our on site well stocked shop. With well know makes such as Fox,,Korda,TFG ,Dynamite Baits,Vision Baits, Sticky baits, Fladen.
ACCOMMODATION
We offer a select amount of accommodation to suit anglers, mountain bikers, walkers and horse riders - 2 static caravans which are available self catering, 1 family double room and 2 twin B&B rooms which are modern comfortable and reasonably priced, sharing their own separate toilet and shower rooms. Camping facilities with electric hookup toilets and showers and bunk house barn style bivvy huts. Bike wash off and secure storage on site.

Whether you are a serious endurance rider, or just looking for a few days away, we can offer you access to bridlepaths and off road riding with breathtaking views or just ride our woodland farm ride. TREE AND NATURE TRAILS
Through 70acres of mixed woodland we have created trails themed on trees animals and birds with children's activity sheets and rubbings . Dogs are allowed on leads but must be cleared up after on paths. The walks are free to customers paying for other activities or visiting the Hideaways Café with a minimum spend.
HIDEAWAYS DUTCH PANCAKE CAFÉ
Authentic delicious Dutch pancakes are available with great reviews from Hideaways Café which is hidden away in a beautiful setting at Gweryd Lakes. The pancakes are a meal in themselves and can sweet or savoury or a mix. You can choose your own fillings. The café also has a café menu for breakfasts and teas and has home made cakes and specials made with Gweryd's own lamb. Children's Pancake Parties which can incorporate fishing or nature trails. Large groups and special party bookings by pre arrangement, meeting room facilities.
