The White House is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and situated on the outskirts of a quiet village in the beautiful Alyn valley.
"Y Bwthyn" is a cosy, recently renovated stone cottage - attatched to the old rectory (the owner's home).
Accommodation:
Downstairs: furnished lounge with a television and sofa bed, a well equipped kitchen/diner with cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine, two shower rooms - with wash basins and wc's, a drying cupboard and pay phone.
Upstairs: 2 bedrooms - each with one single and one double bed. Central heating throughout. Linen provided.
Outside: Parking area, barbeque/picnic area.
(This is a non-smoking cottage which sleeps a maximum of six.)
The White House is ideal to use as a base for exploring North Wales, as the cottage is within easy travelling distance of:
- The 17th Century Druid Inn - famous for its excellent cuisine, is only 2 minutes walk away.
- Ruthin - a small town of notable historic interest.
- Llangollen - the home of the International Eisteddfod.
- The market town of Mold - with the renowned Theatre Clwyd Cymru and its street markets.
- Chester - Roman and Tudor history, shopping and so much more.
Spectacular views, ideal for bird watching, sketching, rambling or relaxing. We are surrounded by areas of interest such as the "Offa's Dyke" path, Loggerheads Country Park and Moel Famau.
